TerraX archaeological staff has over 50 years of experience in the survey, assessment, and mitigation of prehistoric, historic, and urban archaeological sites in the Southeastern United States. General Company Information

Safety Measures. Safety during fieldwork will be a foremost concern to TerraX. We are very familiar with and will conform to all OSHA safety regulations outlined for general industry (29 CFR Part 1910) and for the construction industry (29 CFR Part 1926) concerning general safety (29 CFR Part 1910 and Subparts C, E, G, I, J, K, L, and P; 29 CFR 1926 and Subparts C, D, E, G, and I) and open excavations in the earth's surface (29 CFR 1926 and Subpart P). Additionally, all TerraX personnel serving in a supervisory capacity are Red Cross certified in both CPR and First Aid.

Our combined services specialize in near-surface geophysical investigations, environmental and hazardous material assessments, and preservation and stabilization of architectural materials.

TerraX has three main offices; a corporate office in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and field offices in Alexander City and Mobile, Alabama. All of the project work orders are run through our corporate headquarters to ensure consistent corporate management and oversight. Computer facilities consist of desktop and laptop workstations supported by word-processing (Word 2010), computer aided drafting (Adobe Illustrator 7.0), Geographic Information System (ArcView10) and desktop publishing software (Creative Suite 6).
