LUKE GALLAGHER

Luke Gallagher is an archaeology professional with extensive GIS experience, having been a GIS technician for two separate utility companies following graduation in May of 2021. Mr. Gallagher’s research interests include the archaeology of conflict, namely related to the American Civil War and its related camp sites, staging areas, and other places of military significance as well as the history of the war itself. He has attended three field schools — one in Central Illinois, one Eastern Hungary, and and finally one in western North Carolina, on the Qualla Boundary of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians.
