Cheyenne Davis, M.A., has one year of archaeological experience. She received her B.A. in History and Anthropology with a focus on integrating interdisciplinary approaches to research from Troy University. Her undergraduate research was focused on the Witch Trials of Early Modern Europe through the examination of societal stress and effects of globalization. She received her M.A. in Anthropology from the University of Alabama, where her research was centered around iconography and ceramics in the Maya Lowlands. During this time, she also completed the Graduate Museum Studies Certificate program at the University of Alabama with an emphasis on education and exhibitions. This included internships with the Birmingham Museum of Art and the Alabama Department of Archives and History. Ms. Davis also worked for the University of Alabama Housing and Residential Communities for one year after completing graduate school. She was responsible for the wellbeing of over 1000 first year students, as well as supervising a staff of 40 Resident Assistants and 3 Graduate Community Directors. For TerraX, Ms. Davis oversees projects, directs field crews, and writes reports.
