Shaun West has served as principal investigator on numerous projects throughout the Southeast and has overseen the completion of field work and technical reports for projects in states including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. He has extensive experience performing standard field and laboratory techniques and conducting geophysical surveys using fluxgate gradiometers and ground-penetrating radar machines, and he is proficient in ArcGIS. His special areas of interest include settlement patterns of the Woodland period in the Florida/Georgia Coastal Plain. Mr. West is a registered professional archaeologist.
